Seth On Fire!

Seth and Justin headed to Matthew's game before heading to Seth's.  I had to miss Seth's game since it was rescheduled to 4:50 and Sophia's party started at 5:00.  Apparently I missed a pretty good game!  I got these texts from Justin as I was heading to the salon with the girls.  Seth scored SEVEN goals!  

The other team was struggling and so Wilco pulled a player so we were playing 4v3 and we were still beating them.  Wilco gave the other team two of our players so we were now playing 5 v 3 and we still beat them 17 to 3.  All 3 of their goals were scored by our players.  So sad to miss Seth on fire.  Papa and Mimi are $7 down this weekend. 

Justin headed to Atkins birthday party after Seth's game so he got to miss all of the fun.  :)

Sophia's Party

Sophia decided she wanted a mani, pedi and sleepover party this year.  She asked if we could make jammies for the girls again like last year.  We came up with #nosleep.  The girls were coming here at 5:00 so we could have snacks before heading to the salon.  The girls got here and Jacque was kind enough to help me get the girls to the salon.  I scheduled the party around Seth's soccer schedule and then the schedule changed.

We got to the salon and the girls picked their color and they had a really fun time.  I must say I was very impressed with how calm the girls were.  They were off the walls in the car on the way there.  

After the salon I walked next door to get pizza to bring home.  The girls ate dinner and had their bundt cakes.  Then the madness began!  They filled out a sheet on who knew the birthday girl better, played MASH and had a painting contest, they were given a subject and then timed and then judged.  

At midnight I had them figure out where everyone was going to sleep.  Four ended up in Sophia's room and Sophia and two others in Seth's room ( he was at Mimi and Papa's).  Finally at 1:00 I went upstairs and told them that they HAD to stop.  They were running back and forth from Sophia's room to Seth's and sounded like a herd of elephants running over my room.  I am pretty sure it was 2:00 when they went to bed.  

Happy Double Digits Sophia!

Happy 10th Birthday Sugar Bear!  I cannot believe you are now DOUBLE DIGITS!  We are so proud of the young girl you are becoming. Of course Sophia could not wait to see what streamers she would wake up to... or go to bed to, momma was going to bed and Sophia was still up at 9:45.  She opened her gifts and then headed off to school.

I went up and ate lunch with the birthday girl and when we sat in the back corner of the lunch room at the visitor table Mrs. Pockrus yelled across the cafeteria. "Happy birthday Sophia".  As all the 3rd graders turned around to look at her she turned beat red and I of course gave Kristin a thumbs up!  lol

Sophia had volleyball after school then wanted Chili's for dinner.  The birthday girl go her wish.  

Seth's Sleepover

Sophia was going to the Daddy Daughter Dance and a sleepover so I thought Seth would enjoy having a few friends over to spend the night.  They were wall going to a birthday party at Urban Air at 5:00 so I thought they would be a little worn out... boy was I WRONG!  They were full of energy until about midnight.  THEN they were up at 5:00 Sunday morning.  I went up there and asked what on earth they were doing and they told me that they set an alarm to get up.  WHAT???  WHY??? 

They had fun playing basketball and Gaga Ball.  They even had a dance party to Roxanne.  It was a very long night but they had fun!

Daddy Daughter Dance #4

Justin and Sophia went to the Daddy Daughter Dance again this year. The theme this year was Lantern Festival.  Sophia could not wait to pick out her dress.  She knew she wanted navy so she Googled nave dress and found this one.  I went to Dillards where they said they had it and of course did not.  I ordered online and she LOVED it... until she was getting dressed to leave and started tearing up because it was itchy!  I admit, she IS her mothers child!  

She finally got over it and we headed to Brielle's for pictures.  We were excited that Elyse could make it with the girls this year.  The girls had a great time and were invited back to Brielles to spend the night.  Sophia was a little nervous because she still has not been able to make it through a sleepover.  I told her I would call Mrs. Stacie at10:00 and see how she was.  Stacie said she was doing great.  

At 6:30 Sunday morning Justin looks at his phone and Sophia had sent him a text at 10:40 saying she was feeling anxious and really missed us.  Needless to say we did not answer because we were asleep.  We later found out that she had been texting Jonah too at 11:45 but he ignored her.  

I picked Sophia up the next morning and Stacie said that after she told me she was fine that 10 min. later she got upset but was fine 5 min. later.  When Sophia came down she came over to me and whispered, "I did it mom"  MOMMA teared up a little.  I was so proud of her!  

Soccer Practice

To say it was cold does not even describe it.  We sit at practice with the boys and either FREEZE or SWEAT to death, there really is no in between.  Reesa came without a coat so I gave her a blanket.  Jordan did not want his hat he brought so Reesa held her blanket on with it, we had to take a pic.  

Seth's New Room

Seth has been wanting to get a bigger bed.  He had the two twins in there and was always wanting to move them around, bunk them, unbunk them and move again.  Jackson was getting a bigger bed so asked if we wanted the full size mattress.  We jumped on it and I had pinned this room on Pinterest and Seth LOVED it.  I sat down and started adding to cart and made it happen.  This whole thing came together in about 3 days!  Papa got busy on making his headboard and window covering.  I got busy getting it all together.  I think we pretty much nailed it!  Papa painted the brown dresser that Justin and I got when we got married.  

Oh Sophia!

Opened the fridge to find this!  Sophia wrote on her cup, "Don't drink or you will get Corona VIRUS"!
