Busy Weekend
Busy weekend with soccer, cheer, driving lessons and a birthday party. Sophia and Seth might drive each other nuts but they are more alike than they think. These pics were taken hours apart and they were not even in the car together and they both made the same face! This was Sophia's first game to cheer.
Took Luke driving for the first time. At first he was NOT happy that I made him go drive. We went to the Reedy HS parking lot and come to find out he was just nervous. Once he got a hang of it he did pretty good.

Birthday Weekend
This morning we went over to surprise Pops with breakfast for his birthday. He was certainly surprised! When we showed up he did not even have his teeth in :) We enjoyed breakfast and then headed to Mimi and Papa's to celebrate Jonah's birthday.

Cheer Camp
Sophia had cheer camp tonight. She was so excited to finally start cheering. She got a good attitude award. The parents could not go and watch the performance due to COVID but we got to see a video. So proud of Sophia for getting out there and trying something new.

Jonah's 17th Birthday
Today my baby boy turned 17! He had his wisdom teeth out and was not able to eat real food so we held off celebrating his birthday. He did go and celebrate his birthday twin Josh for dinner. His friend came over and he helped build his new gaming PC with him. Jonah has been working hard and saving money to get the gaming PC done.

Jonah Wisdom Teeth Removed & Justin Kidney Stone
Jonah and I were at the oral surgeons at 8:00 this morning. He got all four wisdom teeth removed. Everything went well, we got him in the car and he was OUT! I was ready for some good conversation but he was sleeping. At one point he did hold out his hand and said what sounded to be "phone", I told him I did not have it. Even though Justin was gimp and could hardly walk I had to call him to come help me get Jonah out of the car. He was dead weight at 200 lbs. He was barely lifting his feet. We put him in our bed because no way were getting him upstairs.
I got him settled and got him meds in him and he crashed. Chase brought him a milk shake later that afternoon. I now have Jonah and Justin in bed and we had Winston.
Thank goodness Jonah did not have any problems and was cleared the next Friday to resume with football and workout.

First Day F2F School
Today the kids got to go to school F2F. I think they are actually a little excited because they get to actually see people and feel somewhat normal again. Although things are totally different at least they get to go to school. I hate that they have to wear a mask all day and cannot sit with friends at lunch or play at recess. We decided to not ride the bus because we did not want them to have to wear a mask for any longer than needed. They said they had a pretty good day, was not terrible just hate the mask and the 6ft apart rule.
The day started a little rough for Justin. At 2:00 this morning he woke up to go to the bathroom, he NEVER wakes up in the night. He left the bathroom and headed to the kitchen. He was gone for a few minutes and when he got back to the bedroom I asked if he was OK. The way he was walking and shuffling his feet told me something was wrong. He said that he felt like someone was stabbing him while grabbing his lower back right side. I told him to get dressed and we were heading to the hospital.
I woke Jonah up to tell him that I was taking Justin to the hospital and that I would be back. He popped up and said, "so am I taking Luke to school"? Did not bother asking if dad was ok. LOL, always a step ahead like his momma. We got to the ER at 2:30 and I felt HORRIBLE because he got out of the truck and walked himself in. I headed home waiting for him to call me to come get him. Damn COVID.
He was texting me telling me that they did not have a room for him and so they put him in triage. Then they were taking him for a CT Scan. He started getting nauseous and sweating. Then at 4:00 he told me that they are giving him morphine and was going to try and close his eyes. 4:37 was the last time I saw the clock. I put an alert on his text so I would be sure to hear it. Apparently he text me at 4:54 and I did not hear or see it. I must have fallen asleep because he called at 5:00 for me to head that way to come pick him up. He had a 4mm kidney stone.
I went to pick him up and we got home at 5:45 just in time to get the littles up at 6:00 for their first day of F2F school. It was a VERY long day.

Luke Got His Permit.
Luke FINALLY got his permit! This whole COVID thing is throwing everything off. We made an appointment out in Gainsville an hour north of here. BEST TRIP TO THE DPS OFFICE EVER. We got there and there were 3 people there, we walked right in after out temperature was taken and asked a series of questions, waited about 6 minutes and then got called up. We were in and out in 20 min.
