HAPPY BIRTHDAY SETH!!! How fun to wake up in CO and hit the slopes on your birthday! Just because we were out of town didn't mean we could not do our birthday morning tradition of streamers on the door. Seth had been asking for a Razor motorcycle so he got one for his birthday. It came the day before we left but I did not want him to see it early so I just printed a picture of it and wrapped that.
We had breakfast and hit the slopes. After we got home we went sledding and then Papa had basta and meatballs for dinner. What an awesome birthday!
We had Carlie and Claire with us today. Claire was so excited to ride the lift with Sophia. If I remember correctly this is the day that we all got split up. Dominic, Carlie, Claire and I went one way and the others went another. Carlie swore that she had gone this way in her lesson... she had NOT :) We ended up having to go up to the tip top and ski down... It took a while and we had NO IDEA where we were. We ended up asking a man on a snowmobile the easiest route down. On the way up on the lift Carlie and I were looking at each other and we could see the fear in each others eyes. LOL This was NOT going to be easy for her or Claire.
We started our descent down and had to cross over a few blue runs. As we would go across I was downhill of Claire because she was scared she was going to go down and not across. I thought my thigh was going to catch fire it was burning so bad trying to ski at an angle and hold her up.
We FINALLY made it down and Justin had gone to get the truck with Sophia, Seth and Noah. When we got to the truck Seth started crying. He thought I was lost and he was scared. Be still my heart! Sophia even got upset.
When we got home we decided to go sledding and then ate dinner and called it a night. We were beat.
