We knew the Camaro window did not work so Justin and Luke ordered the $31 motor for it and started to take the door apart. It was a whip to do but they got it done! Now they will need to fix the passenger side because it is going so slow.

Fun Day
Tyler came home with us Saturday night to spend the night and day down here. The boys were SUPER excited because... CREEK TIME. I put sunscreen on them and told them to get bug spray and shoes. Notice they took off with NO shoes on the scooters. They did not want shoes because last time they went someone stole their boots and tossed their scooters in the creek.
Sophia and Elyse were bored so I went to pick them up and took them to Urban Air with Seth. When I was there I asked Justin if the boys had come home yet and he responded that he was on a rescue mission, Jonah had cut his foot and Luke ran all the way home shirtless and barefoot to get Justin and Fagan was on standby. Justin then sends me pics of his foot and Fagan stitching it up. He got 3 stitches. They obviously did NOT put on bug spray because they were eaten alive.
We had a Druid Hills block party, Justin smoked a brisket, Fredrick smoked some pork and John did burgers and dogs and had a ton of side dishes. John had a band come out and the ice cream truck.

Well Visits 9 and 11
Seth and Sophia had their well visits today. Sophia was a hot mess worried about the shots she was going to get. She had a mild panic attack and grabbed the nurses hand and yelled that she was not ready. She took them like a champ, only a few tears.

Foundation On Front Of House
We had foundation work done on the front of the house. We had 13 pillars put in. They did 9 along the front, 2 on the front corner and 1 on the driveway side.
Seth Got Braces
The day Seth has been waiting for! Braces day... he has been counting down the days. Within an hour of being home he was over it. His one tooth hurt him so bad. He toughed it out and after two days they were ok.

Happy 16th Lukie!
Luke turned SIXTEEN today! Happy birthday kiddo. Luke got some new shoes, Airpods, guitar pics, and I framed all of his favorite bands. He also got a CAR! It is a 1991 Camaro. He test drove it a few weeks ago so it was really not a surprise. We headed over to Mimi and Papa's for lunch and he had requested basta and meatballs and blackberry cobbler for dessert. On our way home at 5:00 he asked if a couple of friends could come over. A couple was seven, Nico, Daniel, Alayna, Chris, Jaden, Isiah and Will. All but Alayna and Jaden spent the night. I have been asking Luke for over a month to get me a list of people and asked what he wanted to do for his birthday... he never would answer me so a little impromptu party it is.

5th Grade Walk and Volleyball Playoffs
Today Sophia had her 5th Grade Walk, this is where they let the 5th graders walk the halls one last time of school before they are released to middle school. The halls are filled with the rest of the school and teachers and usually parents but due to COVID the parents had to be outside waiting on them out front.
I decided to get a fathead of Sophia and all of her friends joined in. We had her annual last day of school party and had to make sure everyone left right at 6:00 so we could leave at 6:20 to get to Fieldhouse for our championship volleyball game at 7:00 and if they won that game we would play again at 8:00.
I had the girls bring their volleyball jersey and knee pads so we could all pile in and I could just run them up to Fieldhouse. Watching them get ready was a glimpse in the very near future. Lauren and Lily could not make it to the swim party but they surprised the girls at their game! They even stayed to watch BOTH games because WE WON!!! The girls played their BEST game yet! League CHAMPS! Way to got Flyers West. Of course the girls wanted to celebrate with slurpees at 7-eleven so we headed there. Of course that turned in to a sleepover with a few of the girls.
