5th Grade Walk and Volleyball Playoffs
Today Sophia had her 5th Grade Walk, this is where they let the 5th graders walk the halls one last time of school before they are released to middle school. The halls are filled with the rest of the school and teachers and usually parents but due to COVID the parents had to be outside waiting on them out front.
I decided to get a fathead of Sophia and all of her friends joined in. We had her annual last day of school party and had to make sure everyone left right at 6:00 so we could leave at 6:20 to get to Fieldhouse for our championship volleyball game at 7:00 and if they won that game we would play again at 8:00.
I had the girls bring their volleyball jersey and knee pads so we could all pile in and I could just run them up to Fieldhouse. Watching them get ready was a glimpse in the very near future. Lauren and Lily could not make it to the swim party but they surprised the girls at their game! They even stayed to watch BOTH games because WE WON!!! The girls played their BEST game yet! League CHAMPS! Way to got Flyers West. Of course the girls wanted to celebrate with slurpees at 7-eleven so we headed there. Of course that turned in to a sleepover with a few of the girls.
