New Years Eve

I always ask myself WHY... WHY do I do this to us?  Seth had Jamal over and Sophia had Brielle, Elyse, Harper, Keira, Rylinn and Madelyn over for New Years.  I said 8:00 start but the girls wanted to go to the park and take pictures and the sun sets at 5:30 so they came at 5:00.  I started making backdrops for photo ops and got some things set up.  I put paper on the counter and table and Sophia decorated them.  It was fun to watch the girls write things as the night went on.  

Stacie brought fettucinne and lasagna for dinner and the rest of the girls brought some snacks.  

We rang in the new year with poppers upstairs and some fireworks outside.  Seth and Jamal were asleep by 1:00 and then I crawled in bed and laid there listening to the girls run, scream and laugh until 3:00 and finally fell asleep at 3:30 and up at 5:15.  It was a long night but a core memory for sure.  

Morton Plumbing And Dry Wall

Morton Plumbing and Dry Wall went to Meemaws to cut out some sheetrock for the plumbing to be fixed.  

These Crazies

Finally got these crazies back together for a sleepover.   

Drive Shaft

Justin went out to replace his drive shaft today and they sent the wrong one.  Ended up ordering one from Ford website for $600.  Went to return the "wrong one" and they wanted $78 to ship and then the machine locked up so Justin came back with the part.  When he told me that would cost that much I told him to keep it and take it with him to Ford to make sure that its not the same one as Ford... sure enough it was!  SO needless to say he kept the one that was only $300 and left the one at Ford.  The reason he thought it was the wrong one was because there was a piece that was added to the one that was on his truck... He ended up putting some WD 40 on there and it slid right off!  So he will put the new one BACK on for a third time!

Lunch

Jenny and Tyler came in to Frisco so we met them for lunch at Freebirds.  

We picked up Tate on the way home.  Took the boys to Masons for some cards and grabbed a cake pop on the way home.

Christmas Day

Merry Christmas!  Seth had trouble going to sleep last night and then was up at 5:00 in our room... I asked him what the matter was and he just could not sleep.  He ended up falling back to sleep thank goodness.  I got up and showered around 7:45 and then he was up around 8:30 and then around 9:00 we got the others up.  They all had a great Christmas and happy with their gifts.  Sophia made Jonah and picture collage of her and him, painted Luke a picture and gave Seth an ornament.  Sophia was most excited about her eyelash curler.  Seth was super excited with his Switch game controller and keyboard and mouse.  

Jason brought Meemaw around 9:30 so we could have her for breakfast, I made my french toast and the ham and egg cups.  We got to have her for a while and Justin took her to Jason's around 4:00.  We then headed to mom and dads for dinner.  They were having pork tenderloin, glazed carrots, I made green bean bundles, garlic bread, salad and orzo.  After dinner and gifts at mom and dads we played Left, Right, Center.  Brooke was killing it with the dots every roll!
