Morton Madness

 HAPPY BIRTHDAY SETH!!!  How fun to wake up in CO and hit the slopes on your birthday!  Just because we were out of town didn't mean we could not do our birthday morning tradition of streamers on the door.  Seth had been asking for a Razor motorcycle so he got one for his birthday.  It came the day before we left but I did not want him to see it early so I just printed a picture of it and wrapped that.   We had breakfast and hit the slopes.  After we got home we went sledding and then Papa had basta and meatballs for dinner.  What an awesome birthday! We had Carlie and Claire with us today.  Claire was so excited to ride the lift with Sophia.   If I remember correctly this is the day that we all got split up.  Dominic, Carlie, Claire and I went one way and the others went another.  Carlie swore that she had gone this way in her lesson... she had NOT :)  We ended up having to go up to the tip top and ski down... I...

Heading to moms happy place... the slopes!  We got up and headed out early this morning to get Carlie and Claire to their lesson.  What a nightmare... where they told us to go was NOT where we needed to go.  We finally got them there and headed up the mountain.  The kids were beyond excited and could not wait to go up.  We did a few runs and then headed down to eat our packed lunches and meet up with Carlie and Claire.   Jonah is loving Vail with Josh and I got a pic of them with their boards.  Jonah said he liked boarding more than skiing.    

We were not in a hurry to get out of Trinidad.  We could not check in the house until 4:00 so we had breakfast and reloaded the cars and hit the pavement.  We got to the house and unloaded everything and then loaded up and headed to pick up all the skiis.    

Mom and dad got to our house this morning so Luke and Sophia could hop in dads truck and we headed over to Nic and Carlie's to grab them.  Winter Park, CO herer we come!  Jonah was flying to Vail with Josh the next morning so we brought Flat Jonah with us.  We stopped in Trinidad for the night so we would not be driving in the dark up the mountain.   We got to the hotel and ordered pizza for dinner.  Remington did great in the car, he did not pee or poop for TWENTY FOUR HOURS.  He FINALLY went when we got to CO to the house.    

Flyers West had a game tonight to start off Spring Break.  Mrs. Warne (school counselor) stayed to watch the girls WIN!    

Jonah had a wrestling match, he lost one and won one!  WTG Jonah.  

Sophia woke up 11 years old today!  She was so excited that she got a phone!  She wanted another sleepover this year.  She was so excited to give the girls their pillowcases that she made specifically for them.  We celebrated Carlie, Dominic and I's birthday as at Mimi and Papa's as well.
