Morton Madness

Finally got Sophia to the doctor.  She has been complaining about her knee hurting for a few months now.  We finally made an appointment with an orthopedic.  They did an x-ray and everything looked fine so that was good news.  She does have patellar tendinitis and Osgood-Schlatters's Apophysitis(from growing).  We got some exercises to do and told to rest and take Aleve.     

I told Luke we needed to schedule his Senior pics and he asked why.  He said it was stupid and he did not want them done.  I told him it was for momma and not him :)  He refused to let anyone trim his hair because Mary was not available.  He did not like the clothes I picked out... from his closet but they were fine when Courtney approved.  He wanted to wear his work hat and I was not sold on it but then it turned out fine.  There was a storm headed our way and Courtney said to come because it was going to go over us.  We met her at the top of the Legacy West parking garage.  The pictures turned out amazing and I could not be happier.    

Jonah is living his best life!  He is loving the fraternity BYX.  So glad he is having fun and making friends!  

Seth's hip injury was not getting better with rest so we took him to the chiropractor for some therapy.  One leg was shorter than the other, had a rib out of place and was always having headaches.  We have been going twice a week and he does his stretches before practice and games.  He was popped from the neck to the ankles.  His headaches are gone and his hip is getting better!

Jonah was initiated into his fraternity tonight!  Not sure who did or did not teach him how to tie a tie.  LOL  

The night is FINALLY HERE!!!  TAYLOR SWIFT.  Sophia has been looking forward to this night for months!  Tickets went on sale I think back in Oct.  It was a nightmare trying to get tickets and I ended up not able to get any.  We had a couple of moms that were able to get some so they bought all they could and we would figure out who was going when and with who.  Cindy ended up with 4 tickets and asked if Sophia wanted to go with them.  She said that they were nose bleed but they were tickets.  She was coming to Dallas Friday, Saturday and Sunday night... we had cheer tryouts Saturday morning so they went Sunday night.   A few girls went Friday night and said it was so fun!  They were planning on leaving the house at 4:45 and at 4:30 the skies opened up and we were under a tornado warning.  Thank goodness it passed quickly and the car that Emma's aunt got the girls arrived right on time.  They were going in a Rolls Royce....

Sophia had cheer tryouts today.  It was a LONG week learning and perfecting the chant, cheer and dance.  We spend countless hours at open gym and tumbling privates the months leading up to this day.  She got in her head the night before and had a brief meltdown and could not sleep AT ALL the night before.  We had to be at the school at 11:00 for 11:30 tryout time.  She was #2 to go out.  She was with Harper and Ayla.  She was a hot mess going in but soon sent me a text telling me she did SO GOOD!   I knew she would do amazing!  We have an 8th grade cheerleader.  She will be cheering with Harper, Keira and Elyse again.
