Luke and his socks... and coat

This is my story EVERY morning we are getting dressed or just getting ready to go somewhere...

This morning Luke ACTUALLY put his socks on the THIRD time I asked with only a few complaints... "it is hard" "socks are stupid" "I am itchy" "I am sooooo tired" "I need to stretch" blah blah blah. I told him to open them like mommy and daddy have shown him multiple times and he did. I told him that the fish was going to eat up his foot because he was so hungry. (the fish being the sock) They were the short socks so he did a great job. He has been putting on his own socks since he was three years old but for some reason about 6 months ago "forgot" how.

I am telling you... we go through this not only EVERY morning but when we have to go and get Jonah in the afternoons and whenever else we have to go somewhere. It is the BIGGEST beating!!! Even Jonah gets mad at him and tells him to just do it! Jonah has even helped him put them on and says, "See Luke, it is not that hard"

We even go through this when he has to put a coat on... he HATES coats (just like his momma) and says, "not the fat one" meaning not a little hoodie jacket.
