We put a bed in Sophia's room a while back and she never wanted to sleep in it. I did not push her since she has always been our AWESOME sleeper. We put her in bed, tell her goodnight and you do not hear from her until morning. Jonah was 18 months old when he moved to a big bed (of course the poor baby was pushed out of his crib so little brother could have it when he was born). Luke was 16 months when he started sleeping in his big bed. We went to visit Stefanie out in South Carolina and when we got home he refused to sleep in his crib. Momma was tired of fighting it so in the bed he went.
Last weekend when we were in Houston and it was time for bed she kept asking where her crib was. I told her that she was going to be sleeping on the air matress. She was fine with that and went to bed. The next day she ASKED to take a nap and wanted in Seth's pack n play. She fell asleep and slept for two hours in it. That night she asked if she could sleep in it again so we put Seth with us in the bed.
Last night when Justin put her to bed she was asking for me and when I went in there she told me that she wanted that one, as she pointed to her big bed. I thought, yea right... I put her in it and told her good night and she stayed in it all night! What have we started?
update: 6-12: She is in her big bed for the third night in a row and even took a nap in it today. Now we just need to get this potty training finished. Fingers crossed!
I would have a picture of my sweet girl in her big girl bed IF I HAD MY CAMERA THAT HAS BEEN IN THE SHOP FOR SEVEN WEEKS NOW!!!!!!!
