New Years Eve

It was a VERY low key New Years Eve this year.  Justin smoked a salmon and Scott and Haley came over to eat.  I do not even know how to explain these photos... This happened to prevent another set of friends who were out front when they were headed home from getting their feelings hurt!  I think we came up with 4 or 5 different plans of them going home.  We were all dying laughing and could not even believe we were doing it.  

Final plan...  Scott went over the fence to see if the back door was unlocked, it was not so he had to walk around front anyway.  As Scott was going over the fence Haley yelled, " watch the crape myrtles"!

We were then in bed around 11:00.

Haley did not actually go over the fence, she started to and then decided to walk around to the side gate!

BEST Uncle Ever!

Justin woke the boys up at 5:15 and Luke actually popped up, this was his first hunt of the season.  Ben even woke up and this was his very first hunt ever.  They loaded up and headed to Ray Roberts.

They only saw one duck but had a great time together.

Cousin Fun

Kelly had an emergency appendectomy and Jason could not change his plans so we took the kids!  They always have so much fun together.  We got them all in bed around 9:00 because the big boys were all getting up for a morning hunt.  Justin and I headed over to Fagans for the Rhonda Rousy fight and of course it did not start until 11:45 and only lasted 48 seconds.  We headed home after the fight because 5:00 was coming quick.  

Another Hunt

Even though it was 80 degrees they got two ducks!

After the hunt Papa took Jonah home to get the new site on his bow.  Nice shot!  Now to work on pulling the weight back with no help.

Back Out For A Roost Hunt

They guys went back out to the flooded marsh for a roost hunt.  Justin forgot Remingtons vest so he was a little cold standing in the water the whole time.  

Christmas Day... The Day The Air Conditioner Was Turned On!

Sophia was the first one up at 7:15.  I was in the shower so after I got out and dressed we woke the boys up.  Everyone was happy with what Santa brought.  

Sophia got American Girl Doll things and Seth Paw Patrol and Blaze stuff.  Jonah and Luke got a new phone and were beyond excited.  Jonah has been wanting an iPhone because the Samsung he had was not a "real phone" according to him and his friends.  Poor poor Jonah!  They both got the     iPhone 7 so were super excited because they were expecting the 6.

Nina came by to drop the kids gifts off and then we headed to Mimi and Papa's.  

Christmas Eve At Mimi and Papa's

We headed over to Mimi and Papa's for dinner.  We did not make it to church this year because I was coughing every 5 seconds and at one point ran to the toilet because I thought I was going to throw up I was coughing so hard.  It felt like someone was pressing on my chest and I could not catch my breath.  Jonah and Seth were coughing too so we decided to skip this year.  

WHY?  WHY is it so hard to get a picture?  I was cracking up at Noah because he kept asking why it was taking so long... he would not stand up or look at the camera :)  LOL

Carlie made some cookies for the kids to decorate... only they all ran together!
