Morton Madness

So excited we got to make it up to Kansas City for Thanksgiving.  We started thinking and it was 2019 last time we went for Thanksgiving.  Justin left Monday to go for one last hunt in Kansas and then met us in Kansas City on Wednesday night.  It was so great seeing everyone.  We missed seeing all the Sherpy's.  We all stayed with Mike and Lanita this trip since Uncle Ralph was not feeling well.  We did not know if we could all fit but we made it happen!  Sophia, Claire and Brooke were all in Alaina's room, mom and dad in the other spare room and then the rest of us on blow ups!  Jonah was smart and took his up to the porch.  The only downside was being stuck in the room with all the ones who snore.   The last night Nic was snoring so loud that even Luke heard it through his noise canceling headphones.  I went upstairs to the couch but could still hear him.   We spent Thanksgiving Day at Lisa and Joe's.  Had a to...

The Henleys were coming over and that means ONE thing... chicken wings!  Only this time no Wing Stop, the boys went to the store and Luke fried 72 wings for everyone.  He has done this a few times now and likes them better than ordering out.  We missed Justin, he was up in a tree in Kansas getting one last hunt in.    

Justin, Jonah and Sophia headed out to Ladonia for Sophia's first ever duck hunt!  She was so excited and all she wanted was a mallard!  Well, she got a mallard hen! So proud of her and she might be hooked now.  I know Justin was in heaven having her out there along with Jonah Bear.   Seth and I stayed back because he was asked to play in a tournament with the Feyenoord team.  He played two games Saturday (one in goal) and the other on the field.  He started running fever Sat. night so was not able to play Sunday morning.
