This morning we woke up to 2.5 inches of snow. Justin and Brian headed to the mountain to ski this morning and Daph and I stayed with the kiddos until the guys came home at lunch. Then Daph, the kids and I headed to the mountain to get in a few runs.
Of course when we got there Luke told me that he did not want to ski. Sorry sport! That is NOT an option at this point... I asked Luke if he would like to ride the "magic carpet" and do a few runs to get a feel for it. That is what he decided to do and Ansley decided to do the same. Daph took Jonah and Piper up for their first run and then met us at the chair lift. At this point Luke was ready to go up and give the green run a try. Although Jonah was now done skiing, Daph stayed down with Jonah and I took Piper, Ansley and Luke up and did a couple of runs with them. They all did so great and we were so proud of them. If they fell they would pop right back up like nothing happened.
We decided to order pizza for dinner and Brighton came over to our condo for a sleepover. The kids got in the hot tub while the guys headed out to a local bar. Needless to say it was not that great seeing as how they got home at 9:00.
Once the kids were asleep Daph and I started getting the casseroles ready to put in the fridge overnight. We also started working on the shirts that we were making for all the kids to wear for a picture. Once the casseroles were done we got to working on the shirts. Daph did the sewing since she can do it really fast :)
