4th Of July

Headed over to mom and dads this afternoon for some swimming and burgers.  Dad went and picked Grannie up so we got to spend the day with her.  Seth loved swimming today as long as he was NOT in his float.  Sophia did not swim... again.  I was kind of glad since her face is so beat up I did not want her in the sun.

Poor sister, yesterday we went for a bike ride and on to the park and afterwards Nori and Matt invited us for Popsicles.  We were over at their house playing outside when Sophia was walking towards me and just face planted into the concrete.  A goose egg popped out on her forehead and she scraped her entire nose, upper lip and inside of her knees.  We think she tripped over Luke's leg and didn't even have time to catch herself.  We were just glad she did not bust any teeth out.  It makes me hurt when I look at it :(

We got home from Mimi's around 8:00 and got The Hulk in bed.  Daddy took the big kids to see fireworks.  Luke was freezing... in July because of a slight breeze.  They got home around 10:40 and were exhausted but this mean momma made them shower.  THEY WERE STINKY!  Besides, who can sleep with sunscreen, chlorine and sweat?
