At 3:30 this afternoon I sent Tara a text asking if they wanted to go out to dinner. She said, "only if you want to drive to the ranch". I told her that seemed a little far for dinner, she told me it was only two and a half hours away and to pack up and head down. Why the heck not? We were not doing anything! I sent the neighbor kid home and I shoved some clothes in a bag for everyone, packed up some food and we were out of the house in an hour.
We arrived about 7:00 and the kids immediately started zip lining and riding four wheelers. Jonah and Luke have never driven them, just been a passenger. They were so excited they could hardly stand it!
After dinner we set off some fireworks and made some s'mores. We were all up late and the best part... THE MORTON KIDS DID NOT EVEN SHOWER!!! Yes, you read that right! Momma was so tired she did not even care there was dirt under their nails or a line of dirt under their neck. They were so excited it was sad :)
